Cecil Historical Trust Presents “West Nottingham: A Tale of Two Churches”, Sept. 21st
Make plans for Saturday, September 21st for an open house and history talk at our home, the West Nottingham Friends Meeting House! After being shuttered for many years, we are finally opening our doors again to the public to share this gem of a building!
We will have an open house from 12:00-4:00 on the 21st of September, with a fantastic talk given by Emily Kilby at 2:00! Come listen as she digs deep into WEST NOTTINGHAM: The Tale of 2 Churches Serving a Diverse Community! She will be looking at the people and places and the two churches lying at the center of their community. The West Nottingham Friends Meeting House and the West Nottingham Presbyterian Church.
Admission to this event is free, but donations are greatly appreciated and go solely to the preservation of the 1811 West Nottingham Friends Meeting House. Located at 600 Harrisville Road, Colora, Maryland.
