From Linked In:

MOP-V’s mission is to provide an outlet for Veterans to communicate and heal through music. Whether it is writing songs, playing an instrument, singing, or simply volunteering to support our program.

Many Veterans who struggle with PTSD have a difficult time communicating how they feel or do not feel comfortable enough to communicate with others, which can lead to more stress and struggles as they cope with the trauma that they experienced while deployed.

The objective of this program is to provide an opportunity for all Veterans to come together, build camaraderie, and give them an opportunity to communicate in a different way. This is a 501c3 program and we rely solely on donations, through communicating our mission and fundraising, we will buy equipment needed to provide our Veterans the opportunity to sing, play the guitar or other instruments, write songs and develop the MOP-V program.
