Community Connecting Us:

The Indigenous Wisdom Program, IWP, is a program to continue CCU’s pursuit of personal and collective wellness and mental health, as we explore Indigenous wisdom. You are welcome to join us for all aspects of IWP programming which includes 3-parts monthly: Presentation, Bibliotherapy and Field Trip. We recognize though that life is busy so join us or whenever you can.

Indigenous Wisdom Program – Discussion #2 will be on Lament, Remembrance and Reconciliation. A presentation by Dr. Jodi French, of the Patawomeck Tribe, will prepare us for our upcoming field trip to the Carlisle Indian School on March 4th. Participants will also learn about healing and self-care and how to cope with loss through understanding and validation of their feelings.

Please RSVP so we can plan appropriately, but also know that you are welcome to join without an RSVP as well: 443-731-6080 or info@communityconnecting.us Brought to our community through the financial support of the Cecil County Health Department’s Mental Health Initiative Community Mini Grants.
