Preview: "Cecil High School Sports - Success on the Field, Success in Life"
Today, Cecil Public Media is releasing a preview to our series, “Cecil High School Sports – Success on the Field, Success in Life”. Over the past several months we’ve interviewed coaches and athletes at all five Cecil County High Schools. This series will profile the coaches in Cecil County and the job that they are doing to help transform the lives of student athletes, leaving a profound and long-lasting impact that extends beyond the high school years. In our interviews of both coaches and athletes, their comments underline the fact that team sports are about so much more than physical benefits. Studies have shown that the performance of students can be as much as 10% higher than students who never participated in sports.
